Our Weekend~

Of course, all my photos posted in the wrong order again...you may want to start at the bottom!
Now he thinks that he's such a big boy that he can go knee-boarding with Mommy, too!
There he goes!!! His first ride in the tube, and he LOVED it!

Ready to watch big brother!
She's ready to go- and can't move!
We got Adi all ready for a boat ride.
Eli saw the big girls go tubing, and thought he should go too.
Then it got so warm we needed the swimsuit!
Adilyne looking so pretty after church.
Couldn't put the blower down to eat his cake! I think he had 3 or 4 pieces, but only ate the frosting- of course!
Adi Jean hanging out with Grandma Bette.
Playing with the party favors.
Eliott had lots of fun playing with Ray and Belle's toys while we were there. He has asked several times since if he can go play at Ray's house!
We went to our friend, Belle's birthday party this weekend- she turned 1!!!! Happy Birthday, Belle!
Adi just hanging out, watching her brother swim:)
Eliott learned how to swing on the neighbor's rope swing! He was very proud of himself!

Adilyne Jean

What is cuter than a baby girl in a nightgown?!?!?!
I thought with all of her new milestones that I needed to do a little update on what Adi Jean has been up to. Actually Eliott has changed what he calls her, and has now been referring to her as Adilyne!
She still only has the bottom 2 teeth, but has doing lots of chewing and lots of drooling lately, so I'm wondering if more are on the way? We will see! She has finally been sleeping a little better for us at night, so thankful for that! She was the best-sleeping little baby. From the night she was born until she was 3 months she would get up at 2:00 a.m. It was so consistant I didn't even have to look at the clock. At 3 mo. she got an ear infection, and that was all over with!!!! We were getting up 6 times some nights with her.....not an easy task when we both had to be up at 5:15 a.m. for work. I'm happy to say that we are back to getting up once per night, and sometimes it's only a nuk that she can't find....we are making progress!
When Adi turned 8 months old she learned how to pull herself up in her crib, and stand along furniture! We have also put her behind some walk-behind toys and she does pretty well! She just looks so short to be standing up and 'walking'!!! She definitely makes some tracks throughout the day! This little girl is everywhere and into everything!!!! It's a full time job just to keep up with her! I will vacuum and sweep, and 'think' that the floor is clean. Then she comes along, and she ALWAYS finds something to stick in her mouth!! I laugh that I don't have to sweep under the kitchen table anymore, she will just crawl around under there and eat all the scraps off the floor if you let her!
She is also now saying Mamamama, and babababa, we are now working on Dadadada. If I remember correctly, though, Chad was referred to as Mumumum for a long time by Eliott!
She absolutely ADORES her big brother! He can always get her to smile, laugh, and swing her arms and legs in excitement! He does play a little rough with her at times, this we are working on....but for the most part, for right now, they are siblings who love each other!
We are so blessed to have this 'little doll face' (-Eliott) in our family.
We LOVE her:)

She's a tough girl...

The other night we put Adi to bed. A little while later we couldn't find Eliott. We checked on Adi, and found him in her bed! They were having a great time!! They were both giggling and laughing at each other! We got out the video camera and laughed along with them! She's going to be quite a tough girl, he plays so rough with her, but she thinks it's funny. He was literally picking her right off the mattress with her jammies!

Neighborhood Pirate Party~

Here are our make-shift pirate costumes for the occasion!
There was a little inside-joke to the party, some people had lots of fun with this!

My friend, Ashley, and I all dressed up.

More pirates getting ready to head to Port!

We were put into teams according to how fast we were able to construct a hat out of newspaper. Once in our teams we had to make a boat with very limited materials. The boat had to go with us to all events. I was such a fun day!!!! Thanks to the Athman's and the Britz's for all the work that was put into making it so great!!!

where did the month go!?!?!

These are the 3 granddaughters in Chad's family. Elizabeth, Ally, and Adilyne.
Adi all ready for the beach!

Happy Kids!

Wonder what this look is about?!

Big Boy!
It's been quite a while since I have blogged, no other excuse other than things have been really, really busy!!! The last day of school was today for the kids, and teachers go tomorrow. I will then begin my job as a Stay-At-Home-Mom for the summer! Horray!!! I'm excited to spend all summer with the kids, I'll probably be just as busy, or even more so than when I'm working! It's not an easy task to keep up to these 2! Adi is now sitting, and crawling, and is into EVERYTHING! Eli is just a busy little boy like always, and keeps us on our toes! He is talking like crazy now, and we are always, always laughing with what he comes up with! He is quite entertaining, especially the fact that he talks in 3rd person, so what he says is even cuter:) I have one at my feet now that I need to get to bed, I promise that with all my time at home I will be much better at updating!
