Kahlee and Me!

here is my little cousin kahlee. she is almost 2, and she really likes me!! she was pushing me around the yard in her little car today...we had so much fun!

our house has been in much need of a paint job for quite some time. it took a while to finally decide to go ahead and do it, because it is such a big project!! these pictures were taken after we had already peeled the old paint off, so no, it wasn't really this bad!!! it was a lot of work, but well worth it...

we are so happy with the results!!!

Summer afternoon snack!

after spending some time outside this afternoon, we came in and mommy gave me a popscicle for a snack while she got dinner ready. i really love popscicles, and i get kind of mad when it is all gone!

i decided to finish my snack off with a little bit of potting soil!! i thought it was pretty funny, and i kept trying to go back for more, but my mommy wouldn't let me!

Big Boy!

so eli was supposed to be taking a nap this morning. after a while i could still hear him talking in his crib. i went in his room to see what he was doing, and this is what i found! then, of course, he smiles at me, because he thinks he's pretty smart standing in his crib all by himself!!! little stinker!

My fun weekend!

I had another fun and busy weekend! We went to the cabin on Friday and had to get the lawn mowed. I was a big help! I sure loved riding on the mower with Grandpa!

Mommy and Daddy took me to a picnic, and I got to meet a clown. I wasn't even scared!
I thought I was pretty smart standing by the fence all by myself! And, yes, I still like to snort!!

I 'helped' Wendy with a little of her paper work!!! Now I'm exhausted, it has been such a busy weekend!

SUMMER VACATION!!!

Mommy and I are really loving this summer vacation stuff!! We have lots of fun together!
The next day great-grandma came over to visit me and help mommy plant some flowers. They took me for a walk, and I fell asleep on the way home!

It was the first day of summer vacation, and we went to Sue's Drive-In with the neighbor boys. We had lunch and ice cream treats! I loved it, because everyone was feeding me. I got to try a little of everyone's food, and the best part was all the different ice cream!!!

We're still here!!!

It's been a while since we posted, sorry! Since my last posting we are on SUMMER VACATION!!!! It has been great! We can actually get up and enjoy the mornings, and not have to rush out of the house! Eli is at a great age, every day it's something new with him. He's so funny! He still loves to snort, he also loves when you laugh at him when he does it! He can pull himself up on furniture, and can stand by his activity table and play, holding on with only one hand! He is crawling EVERYWHERE, and is now into EVERYTHING!!! He has a Fisher Price barn that he loves to play with, and he is also pushing around a little walk-behind toy. His favorite thing is to be outside, while he is out there he likes to eat dandelions and go for 3-wheeler rides! He sure keeps us busy, and we LOVE it!!! Our camera is having some technical problems, so it is being sent in to get fixed. Hopefully it won't take too long so I can post some updated pictures!

planting flowers...

after the celebration for great-grandpa and grandma we went home and planted stuff. daddy worked in the vegetable garden, and mommy attempted the flowers. i wasn't a real big help, especially now that i am mobile, so mommy didn't get a lot done. i think i ate about 3 dandelions, then they put me in my high-chair with a freezie. that kept me busy for a while, but then mommy just gave up! i sure know how to keep them going....

Happy 50th Great-Grandparents!

We celebrated 50 years for Great-Grandpa & Grandma! We had a nice mass for them, then went out for brunch. It was Great!!!

Here's my friend Ray and I. Our Mommies took us for a walk at the cabin this weekend. We spent the entire walk looking at each other. It will be really interesting when we can actually talk!
