Buddies!

(sorry, start from the bottom and go up!)

Bye, Wes!

Wes got lots of them!

I love to give kisses...

I even wore her glasses.

Auntie Lori was there, too.

We had lots of fun together!

Then my little buddy Wes came over to play.

This weekend we went to Grandpa and Grandma's house. I got to play while Mommy and Daddy made tomato juice. First I ran around in the garage for a while.

Zoo Boo!

Yesterday we took Eliott to the 'Zoo Boo' at Pine Grove Zoo in Little Falls. It was a fun time, Eli seemed to really enjoy it! Especially all of the suckers and candy he got! He was dressed up as a little cowboy, but we had to switch the cowboy hat with a winter hat by the end!

One Year Old!

Here are some of Eliott's 1 year pictures. Once again, Sue did an amazing job. I tried to pull out some cute ones real quick, it was hard to decided, they are all awesome! For his 1st birthday party we celebrated with a barnyard birthday bash, so we wanted to get a few pictures with his plaid shirt and cowboy hat on. The cowboy hat didn't stay on long! The little monkey is a birthday present from his little cousins, and it is his favorite!!! He loves the monkey, so we had to use that. He also loves to read books and go for wagon rides. I also wanted some messy chocolate cake pictures. He had more fun with the balloons and wagon than he did the cake!

My aunt, Carol, takes care of Eli for me a couple days each week. Well, yesterday while she was taking care of him, she was also taking care of her grandson, Oliver, and my little nephew, Wesley. Doesn't this look like a busy little crew!! How fun for the boys to hang out together, and get into things together! Oliver is 21 months, Eliott is 13 months, and Wesley is 6 months...I was happy to see Carol still smiling when I picked him up after work!

Vaccinations. What to do?

If any of you Moms out there are like me, you worry, and worry, and worry about getting your children vaccinated. I stress and talk about it and debate every time we take Eli in. Eli has a great doctor, and is very good about explaining things to us and making us feel comfortable. I also confide in a good friend of mine who is a nurse, but more importantly, a Mommy herself. She is also great about reassuring me that by getting these vaccinations I am doing what is best for Eliott. She sends me research now and then to help ease my mind. "Thank you!"
If any of you are interested in some of the lastest research on this highly debated topic
check out this link: http://www.parenting.com/article/Baby/Health/Vaccines-Fact-and-Fiction It's always hard to know what is right, but I am encouraged when I read these kinds of researched articles. I hope this helps you make these important decisions for your children also.

Our day at the Pumpkin Patch

Our cute little scarecrow!

Mommy and me!

Here's where we entered the corn maze. Inside were little benches for the kids, and a few different spots where there were some slides. You could spend a lot of time walking through the maze!

Eliott loved going down the slides! There was a little one for kids, and a bigger one you could go down with a gunny sack.
He went down with Daddy.
Then he went down with Mommy.

Daddy and Eliott checking out the big tractor.
Eli didn't quite understand that he couldn't eat the pumpkins! While he was playing with them he learned a new word...pumpkin!

By the time we headed for home, we had one tired little boy!

There he goes....

Well, our little boy is now a walker!!! About a week ago he started taking a few steps on his own back and forth between the two of us. Within the last week he has gotten better and better. Now he's really going to keep us busy!!

One of Eli's favorite things to do is to look at books. A lot of times if he is in his room and quiet I will peek in and find him looking through books. This is what I found last night when I went to check on him...
