Baby #2- 22 weeks!

We had our ultra-sound last week. It went really well! It's so much fun to get a good look at baby! S/he was very active during the ultra-sound, so that was fun to see! This is a side- profile of the face. The baby had both of it's hands up, so the Dr. had to remove one of them for this picture, and that's what caused it to be a little distorted. The little thing didn't want us to get a good view of it's face! The picture turned out pretty well, anyways! We did not find out, and I have NO idea what to even guess!! I just know that it looks like Eliott! We really think the nose and chin resemble Eli....Anyone have any guesses for us?

more Father's Day fun!

I still remember Cha-Cha from the last time I was at the Rainforest Cafe. I really like him!
Having fun playing with my tractors at the table!

There were dancing gorillas, and thunderstorms. I was a little nervous about it at first, but then I decided I liked it!

I don't know why I keep eating sour lemons!

What a fun Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day I took my Daddy (& Mommy) and both of my Grandpas (& Grandmas) to the Twin's game! I didn't take a nap, and was pretty tired, but somehow I made it through the whole game. Too bad they didn't win, but we still had a lot of fun!

Me and Ray at the cabin!

Me and my friend, Ray had lots of fun at the cabin this weekend! We are just 1 month apart in age, and we like to play together. We really love to play tractors, and play in the sandbox. Ray had a baby sister, Belle who was just born on Friday (congratulations!), so his Grandma and Grandpa brought him to the cabin to play!

I loved these pink flamingos that Grandpa and Grandma brought back from the party. I even had to take one of them with me to take a nap!
Mommy and Me in the paddleboat.

Helping Daddy steer the paddleboat.

I'm such a big helper. I like to do everything Daddy does.

I even helped Daddy mow the lawn!

Swimming Lessons!

We signed Eli up for swimming lessons. He had his first lesson tonight. Daddy went in the pool with him. He seemed to really enjoy it!

Baby: 5 Months

Wow, half-way already!!! It's hard to believe that I'm already a little over half-way through. We will be going in for another ultra-sound in a couple of weeks! We can't wait to meet this new baby, and to find out what it is!!! We've been working hard to come up with names for the new baby. Our girl name is set-the same that we had picked the first time. Boy names are a little harder for us. We're still working on that! I've been feeling great, although Eli definetly wears me out throughout the day! I'm finished with school now, so I've really been enjoying this time at home. Eli and I keep very busy with play-dates, the park, the library, and swimming lessons will be starting soon for him. Our next big project is getting a nursery ready for the little one. Eliott is going to stay in his own room, and we will be converting the office to a baby room. If anyone loves to paint, let me know!!!

Your pregnancy: 20 weeks

How your baby's growing:Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

Summer Fun.

Yesterday we went to visit Grandpa and Grandma Seppelt. Grandpa took Eliott over to uncle Paul, and auntie Kim's to see the goats again. When I asked what the goats did, all he would tell me was, "oh, no!"

Then he went to Great-Grandpa and Grandma's house, and of course, right into the tractor shed. He thought he needed to drive them all.
I hope it's a long time before your driving, buddy....

Kinda looks like you know what you're doing!

Summer Vacation!

My first day home on summer vacation was very busy. Here is a before picture of our deck....
...and an after picture when we finished staining it!

We also put up a little swing set for Eli,

and moved his little house to the front yard.

He loves to open and close the shutters!
