Eliott, Auntie, and Oliver. These 2 are quite a pair!
Pretty excited about the minnow races!
The little ones are pretty interested in the minnows. Thank you, Rick!
They didn't use sticks to chase the minnows....they used rhubarb!
And, Yes, then they ate it!

So many people came to celebrate!
Unfortunately, Eli had to stop all the fun to have a little dinner!
LOVING the "sock monkey-in-the-box'!
It gets him every time!
Here's the cake Mommy made for the party. You can probably tell it was a monkey theme. Eliott LOVES monkeys!

First he had to kiss the monkey...
....then he could eat it!

He kept wanting to blow the candle out "one more" time!
Eli was giving the camera his "mad face". He wasn't very mad, though, and had a hard time making the face!!!
Hey, I kind of like this guy!
See?!
Then the guests played in a big volleyball game...It was pretty fun to watch them!
Giving Auntie Lori 'knuckles'!
Kendall giving me a big hug. So nice....
Me and cousin Ally
Kasey and Kendall look silly with frosting on their noses!

32 week appt.

I went in yesterday for my 32 week appt. Things are going very well. It's hard to believe that I had Eli at 36 weeks! That's only 4 weeks away!!!! It was a quick appt. I gained 1 more pound, so that's good. No swelling yet...not at all like Eli's pregnancy! My blood pressure was great. He also measured my belly. I was 32 weeks yesterday, and my belly is measuring at 33 weeks. I guess that means the baby is growing, which is great! I'm feeling pretty good. Starting to get a little uncomfortable. It's getting a little harder to move around, bending, up and down. - Which is to be expected when you look like this!

Last night we got to go and see Hannah's brand new baby at the hospital. Very cute little girl with LOTS of hair!!! Eliott didn't seem to have a whole lot to do with the baby. While Mommy held the baby, he did comb her hair a little bit! Not sure if he was jealous, or just didn't really care. He was quite busy in the hospital room, so I'm sure they were glad when we left! It will be nice for him to see a baby at Denice's house before we bring our's home to shake up his world a little bit! Hopefully he will be somewhat used to what a baby is and does by that time!

Here's an update from Baby Center:
Your pregnancy: 32 weeks
See the big picture
How your baby's growing:By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

Little Fisherman!

This was Eli at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. As soon as he was out of bed he thought he needed to go fishing. No time to change out of his jammies, so his rainboots went right over the footie jammies! Poor Daddy never gets a chance to sleep in!

New Sandbox!

Grandpa and Grandma S. gave Eli a new sandbox for his birthday. They brought it over and set it up for him last week. He LOVES it! His favorite thing to do is have people make him 'one more' sand castle so he can knock them down!

Yummy!

Eliott loves to eat fruits and vegetables. Here he is getting every last bite out of his bowl of broccoli-cheese soup, one of his favorites!

So Hungry!

We always eat our dinner out on the deck. Last night while Chad and I were in the house filling our plates and getting the rest of dinner ready Eli decided to crawl up onto the table and help himself to his plate! This is what we saw when we looked out the window. His dinner was almost gone by the time we sat down!!! Such a good eater!

Little Fisherman

Eliott's new favorite thing to do at the lake is to fish. He wants to be out on the dock as soon as he gets up in the morning. Daddy spends lots of time fishing with him when we are at the cabin.

Week 30 Update

Well, we had our ultra-sound yesterday, and everything went well!!! What a relief! I didn't gain any weight from my 28 week appt., so I've still only gained 5 pounds throughout. I was a little nervous after the nurse told me that I didn't gain anything. During the ultra-sound the Dr. carefully measured and checked out all parts of the baby. The brain, head, heart, thighs, everything. We got a really good look at baby, and got to see that the hair is starting to come in!! Baby is head-down, which I was pretty sure of. And, looks just like Eliott!!! I'll go back in 2 weeks, and we will check my weight again at that time. The Dr. thinks that this baby is going to be a little more in the 'average range' for size. He said that Eliott was not an average-sized baby. He weighed 7lbs. 13oz. 3 weeks early. This one seems to be a little smaller than him, but is still at the 47% for size, which is good. No-we still did not find out what the baby is, we've waited this long we might as well wait a few more weeks!!! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, we were so happy to get good news yesterday!

Anniversary Weekend: Take 2!

We had our 2nd Annual Anniversary weekend up at Grandpa and Grandma's cabin 2 weekends ago. (I'm a little behind) It was so much fun again! We could have used a little better weather- a little less wind, but overall it was a great time!
Playing on Grandpa's pontoon.
Checking something out...

Trying to give Wes 'high-five'.

Playing Polish Horseshoes. I'm pretty good at this game!

Grandpa is reading us stories.

Reading my own story.

Great-Grandma is helping Wes and I throw rocks into the lake. This is what I spent most of my weekend doing.

I spent the other part of my weekend eating freezies.

Grandpa is reading us stories again.
We played another big tournament this weekend. Too bad it was so windy that we had to hide behind the cabins to play, and wear our hoods!

Wes loved driving my little John Deere tractor!

Just relaxin'!

I really do like Wes, even if I don't always act like it!
Hanging out with Grandma and Auntie Kim.
