More Clean-Up!

Tonight we were over at Grandpa and Grandma's all night working on cleaning up the yard. We worked really hard, but there is a lot left to do! Grandma, both my Grandpa's, Mommy, Daddy and a couple neighbors were over working hard while I supervised! Oh, and have you heard Grandpa talk about his special cat Bootsie?? I got to play with him tonight!

Play Date!

We had a fun play date on Wednesday down at the lake by Sue's house. (The Sue who takes my pictures.) There were LOTS of kids there, and we had a good time. I liked watching the bigger kids go down the waterslide! I can't wait until I'm a little bigger! Megan G. sure liked to play with me. She fed me lots of snacks and followed me around the whole time! I fell asleep as soon as we got into the car to go home! I played hard!

Storm Damage!

Grandpa and Grandma Tomala had a small tornado go through their yard on Monday night. It sure made a mess!! I watched and supervised as both of my Grandmas and Mommy tried to clean up a little bit of the yard. My Grandpas, Daddy, and uncle Billy were out taking care of a bunch of trees that had knocked over a big chunk of fence. Here are some pictures of what the yard looked like, and of course, me!

My cousin, Alexandra

Last weekend my cousins came to visit us at the cabin. Alexandra played with me a lot. She read me books, took me for walks, and took really good care of me! Thanks Alexandra!!!

Eli's new toy!

Eli's friend, Ben, from the cabin handed down a new toy. A little John Deere 4-wheeler! He loves it!!! I think it was kind of hard for Ben to part with, he loves John Deere, but he was happy to see how much Eliott liked to play with it! It has little buttons on it that play music, so when the music starts, Eli dances!!! Thank you, Ben!!!!

Cousins!

We watched Wesley last Monday while his Mommy was working. I didn't think I could do it myself, so cousin Kalyn came over, and we're sure glad she did! She was a huge help! Wesley really likes to eat, A LOT, and Eli NEVER stops moving....I'm not sure I could have done it alone!

Fins UP!

We went to the Jimmy Buffet concert in Alpine Valley, WI this weekend. Our friends, Brandon and Steph have gone many times, and talked us into it this year, and we are sure happy they did!!! It was AWSOME!!! Other than the 5 hr. drive....Here we are with our group, Holly, Ali, Brandon, Steph, me, and Chad.

It's 5 O'clock somewhere....

This is what it looks like as far as you can see in all directions from the top of the vehicle! I think there are something like 40,000 people in attendance-probably more for the pre-party. Notice the 'fin' on the top of the SUV...we saw a lot of these..FINS UP!

Here we are hanging out during the pre-concert party!

Here is Steph bouncing on a pogo stick...can you bounce 5 times in a row?!

This was Chad and Brandon on the way home....thank goodness Steph was able to drive, we were all pretty tired!

We had a great time at the concert and hanging out with our friends. I think we will try to do this again next year...it was a blast!!! It was really nice to be back at home and see Eli again, though. It's amazing how much you miss the little guy when you're gone for 2 nights!!! He and Mommy will do lots of bonding this week to make up for it! Thank you to grandma's, grandpa's, and great's for taking such good care of Eli while we were gone... I think he grew while we were away!

50 Years Long And Still Going Strong!

To celebrate Grandpa and Grandma's 50th wedding anniversary our family spent a weekend at the cabins on Sullivan Lake. Aunts, Uncles, and cousins all gathered. We had sweatshirts made up for the occasion, and lots of activities planned. Here are some highlights from the great weekend!
Eliott and Great-Grandpa smiling at each other.
Hey, Erin!!!!
Eli loved the hammock swing!
Being 'nice' to cousin Wesley.
'Big' Wes in the back-pack carrier.
Eli went for his first boat ride this weekend in Grandpa's pontoon. Do you think he likes his life-jacket?
Ready to board!
Mommy and Eli...the sun is bright!
Daddy and Eli.
Wesley got to go for a boat ride too!

Grandpa let Eli drive, and he loved it! He liked to honk the horn, too!
So Happy!

Thanks for letting me drive your pontoon, Grandpa!

Chad was in charge of setting up yard-game tournaments for the weekend. We saw him carrying around this tourney board quite often! Everyone joined in, and it

was a lot of fun!
Here are some players hard at work!
Erin was feeding Wesley a bottle while she waited for her turn to play.
Angie and Eli!
Erin and Chad were the lucky winners of the Friday tournament...believe it or not, they ended up as partners on Saturday too. Grandpa and Samantha took over their 1st place spot!
Here are some on-lookers waiting for their turns at the games!
Grandpa was all smiles...he and his partner Samantha took first in the Saturday tourney!!
Mom and Kim battling it out in a tough game of polish horseshoes!
Grandpa and Grandma trying their hands at polish horseshoes!
Kalyn was a great babysitter while Mommy and Daddy were playing!

Eli has been in need of a haircut for a while now, it almost looked like a little mullet!
We had Auntie Kim take care of that this weekend, just a little trim behind each ear....
Look how much better that is!! Thanks Kim!!!

We celebrated Grandma's birthday while we were at the cabin, here she is blowing out her candles....make a wish!!!
And here's Eli enjoying the cake...and snorting, of course!

It's time to say good-bye...it has been an awsome weekend! Lots of games, laughs, and fun...Thanks to everyone who helped to make it great!!
