Another Photo Dump...

Sorry friends- I'd like to say that things aren't so crazy in our house, and have slowed into more of a routine, but that's not the case.  Hence the week of no posts, and another photo dump of our past week.  We no more than unpacked all of our luggage, and turned around and packed us up again for the kids to spend a night with my sister, and for us to spend the night with our good friend who celebrated her 40th birthday!  Her husband is a wonderful man....he planned out some celebration!  Happy Birthday, Julie- we had so much fun with you!!!!

And now... onto some silly kids-
I don't really know how to explain this one- she loves black olives, and often requests them for a snack.  I probably should have told her not to play with her food instead of taking a picture...but seriously....how could I resist!?
Adi has been playing with her dolls a lot lately.  She is the Mommy and is often going shopping.  (wonder where she gets that from?!)  Only, her purse is usually empty....We brought her back the cutest little baby from Jamaica, and it has been her new favorite.
There is no explanation for many of the things she does.....She is always dressing herself, and loves to put on hats.
The kids had a "Pillow Pet Party" at daycare last week.  I asked Gabrielle to take some pictures of the fun for me.  The kids were so excited!
This is Adi and her friend, Kira.  They play together, and get into stuff together- A LOT!!!!  They are about the same age, and kind of have the same attitude....they are entertaining!!!
No "Pillow Pet Party" is complete without candles and cupcakes!!
Daddy took the kids out to play after work one day last week, and tried to get a snowman made before the sun went down.  Can you see it on the ground between them?!
Friday nights are our cozy, cuddle up in the basement, watch movies, and eat popcorn nights.  We did just that.  She had some 'work' to do though, before she could watch the movie.
Must have been a funny movie they were watching....I'm going to guess Cars 2.  That's what they always choose!
Saturday before we headed out for our fun night we took the kids sledding for a bit.

 Wipe-Out!

That's a quick re-cap of our week.  I hope to get some of the cute crafts I've been working on up here soon....We'll see what time allows for!
Have a wonderful week!

Photo Dump...

Life is slowly getting back in order around here.  We came home with an extreme case of jet-lag, and 3 suitcases filled with dirty laundry.  Thank goodness for my wonderful mother for sending the kids home with every single article washed, other than the jammies they were in....That helped BIG time!!!

Daddy had Friday off, and Mommy worked.  We spent Saturday cleaning, and organizing, and washing, and scrubbing, and making pizza!  Then our friends came over so we could all relive our Dunn's River Falls excursion, and we laughed about all the memories we made!  It was great!  After church on Sunday Daddy and Eli went fishing, and Mommy and Adi hung at home.  We cuddled together and napped, and enjoyed one another.  This week it's back to work, back to routine, and back to normal.

Some of our lives the past few days.  Just a little bit of randomness..

This little girl needs to lose the nuk- or 3!!  Any pointers on how to get these away?  She's completely potty-trained (other than bed, but has been waking dry), but still has a bottle (gasp), and nuk!  We know, call us bad parents, this is just a hurdle we haven't crossed yet!

These 2 were riding their horse named 'Bullseye', and shooting 'naughty Grovers' the other day.  They have been spending some time going on ghost hunts lately, also.  Not sure where this all started from, but it's kind of entertaining listening to their imaginations run wild!

This little guy has been going to wrestling practice lately!  He thinks after only 1 practice, that he should just be able to wrestle in matches.  He doesn't think he needs to practice anymore....Daddy thinks otherwise.  Daddy has been enjoying this time with him in the wrestling room.  Bringing him back to his own high school years:)

The new singlets were waaaay to big on him, so they had to pull out the old vintage red ones!!!  Tiny little guy with Big hair!

These 2 were getting impatient for Mommy and Daddy to finish up and join them for a game before bed.  They jumped in the laundry basket to kill time, and decided to drive themselves to Candy Land.  Perfect place for these little sugar nuts to go!!

We were in the mood for home-made pizzas the other night, and this is no easy feat in our house.  We put lots into those things, and wanted to keep the kids busy while we worked.  We pulled out the flour, and they went to work.  They were entertained for almost an hour- Perfect!

Trying to snack on a little!

We couldn't decide which kind to make, so we went with 3.  Bacon cheeseburger, Buffalo/chicken/spinach, and Chicken/bacon/ranch/spinach.  DELISH!!!!  And the best part is- we have lots of left-overs in the fridge!

And Mommy and Daddy are still dreaming....We loved it- Absolutely loved every little thing about our vacation.  We want to go back....Like Right NOW!!!!  Next year- we must do it again:)

A Little Slice of Heaven

It was amazing, my friends...absolutely amazing.  The view, the sky, the ocean, the food, the drinks, the staff, the laughs, the fun, the friends, and the memories.  It was 100% better than I was even expecting it to be.

We are home, safe and sound, and REALLY tired!  Our flight got in at about 12:30 last night, and we made it to bed about 3:00 a.m.  The kids needed to be picked up by 7:00 a.m., so we were going on about 3 1/2 hours of sleep.  We were so excited to see them, though, we popped right up and ran out the door when our alarm went off.  My first impression of Beanie- she grew!!!  And my first impression of Bubbie- his hair!!! -(Those that have seen him lately know what I'm sayin'!)  We were happy to lounge the day away with them.  We played lots of games, playdough, puzzles, and read stories.  We also spent some time relaxing with a movie.  Everyone is tucked in early tonight, and the kids are lucky to enjoy another day at home with Daddy tomorrow.  Mommy needs to get to work and check on all the little ones there:)

I uploaded pictures today, and I think I had 278 of them on my camera.  That isn't counting the pictures from Ashley's camera, and our underwater camera!  I wasn't able to catch everything with mine, so this doesn't do the vacation justice.  This doesn't include any of the wonderful time at Dunn's River Falls, Margaritaville, or any of our fancy dinners. We need to get together and share them all.  Here's a brief peek at the wonderful time we had, the friends we met, and the memories we made!

We flew out at 7:00 a.m.  The sky was beautiful.

We were so excited, you would have never known that we were going on about 3 1/2 hours of sleep the night before!

There is it!- Jamaica.

The airport lounge was wonderful...We felt the Jamaican friendliness immediately.

Our first night heading out to dinner.  Friday night is Lobster night, and it was wonderful!

The next morning we relaxed on the beach...pretty much all day.

And played in the water.

And soaked up the sun.

Bayside restaurant...Our favorite!

Time for the pool.

The workers climbed a tree and handed down coconuts.  They told us about the water inside, and how healthy it is.  We all had to try it!

...peace...love...respect...

We played a few games of volleyball, and it was during this game that we met our friends.  2 couples from WI, and one couple from Canada. We hit it off, and spent the rest of our time together.

We hung by the pool with them.

Played in the ocean with them.

Ready for dinner...It was their 34th anniversary the weekend we were there, and boy were we lucky!  I have never seen so much food in my life!  And it was excellent!!!

This was getting ready to head out to dinner.  (Dinner pics are on Ashley's camera)

The next day we met up with our friends at the pool again...and we laughed until our stomachs hurt!

These guys were crazy!  Strangers were taking pictures of their crazy little stunts!

Chad, Jerome, and Nate did a little synchronized swimming show- Hil.ari.ous.!!!!!!

Sunshine, blue sky, and palm trees- Absolutely perfect!

We all jumped, and played, and rolled in the waves together until it was time to shower up again for another dinner.

This was so much fun, but left a huge mess of sand on our bathroom floors...Our suits were full of it!

There is a fun little waterfall in the other pool.

This is in the entrance to Tower Isle.  This place is so beautiful!

We did some walking and running through these trails.  It looked like we were in the jungle.

Romando was giving some dance lessons.

Ready for dinner our final night at Eight Rivers Restaurant.

...peace...love...respect...

The workers here were wonderful.  They were so funny, and they all had such a great sense of humor.  We really, truly, miss these guys!

And it's hard to believe that in 12 short (actually kinda long) hours we are back home and the weather is -18 degrees!!!!  But oh, so worth it to come home to these cute little faces!
I have so much more to share, but I'm too exhausted now.  Gotta rest up for tomorrow.  Enjoy your Friday!
