What is cuter than a baby girl in a nightgown?!?!?!
I thought with all of her new milestones that I needed to do a little update on what Adi Jean has been up to. Actually Eliott has changed what he calls her, and has now been referring to her as Adilyne!
She still only has the bottom 2 teeth, but has doing lots of chewing and lots of drooling lately, so I'm wondering if more are on the way? We will see! She has finally been sleeping a little better for us at night, so thankful for that! She was the best-sleeping little baby. From the night she was born until she was 3 months she would get up at 2:00 a.m. It was so consistant I didn't even have to look at the clock. At 3 mo. she got an ear infection, and that was all over with!!!! We were getting up 6 times some nights with her.....not an easy task when we both had to be up at 5:15 a.m. for work. I'm happy to say that we are back to getting up once per night, and sometimes it's only a nuk that she can't find....we are making progress!
When Adi turned 8 months old she learned how to pull herself up in her crib, and stand along furniture! We have also put her behind some walk-behind toys and she does pretty well! She just looks so short to be standing up and 'walking'!!! She definitely makes some tracks throughout the day! This little girl is everywhere and into everything!!!! It's a full time job just to keep up with her! I will vacuum and sweep, and 'think' that the floor is clean. Then she comes along, and she ALWAYS finds something to stick in her mouth!! I laugh that I don't have to sweep under the kitchen table anymore, she will just crawl around under there and eat all the scraps off the floor if you let her!
She is also now saying Mamamama, and babababa, we are now working on Dadadada. If I remember correctly, though, Chad was referred to as Mumumum for a long time by Eliott!
She absolutely ADORES her big brother! He can always get her to smile, laugh, and swing her arms and legs in excitement! He does play a little rough with her at times, this we are working on....but for the most part, for right now, they are siblings who love each other!
We are so blessed to have this 'little doll face' (-Eliott) in our family.
We LOVE her:)
