I'm going to let the pictures do most of the talking- starting out with preparing the cakes the day before:
Daddy made the kids a yummy birthday party breakfast of green eggs and ham:
Our colorful little girl had the perfect theme to go with her personality this year!
One of the easiest cakes I have made, and also one of my favorites!
Party guest started to arrive in costume:
The little girls got to choose a rainbow hairclip. These were made out of the scraps from Adi's rainbow skirt:
He LOVED everything about his Spiderman party! This is the first time I have done a character party, but it's all about him, and I can't imagine him choosing anything else!
The little boys got t-shirts with a Spiderman decal on the front, and their names on the back.
One of my favorite traditions that I have started with my kids since their first birthday, is purchasing a hard-cover book to go with the theme of the party. All of the party guest sign the inside covers. It is so fun to go back and read all of the sweet messages!
Balloon bouquets:
We put out little rainbow candy dishes:
Look at these cheesy smiles!!!
Eli and his Godmother:
Adi and Auntie:
We put out a set of rainbow-colored beads, and the kids had all kinds of fun putting together little beaded necklaces!
Even little Alivia had one made up with her name!
Here are our friends signing the books:
The benefit of having the party at the lake is that there is always something to do!
My brother and his little girl:
I love how happy and smiley she was! She waited a long time for this special day!
The kids were having so much fun playing in the water:
Ready to blow out those candles:
Lovely little cousin/friends!
We were able to slow down for just a bit to grab a quick photo:
Birthday Girl:
Birthday Boy:
Friends enjoying their dessert:
So excited about Spiderman Mac 'N Cheese!!!!
Do our friends know him, or what?!?! A complete costume along with a web-shooter? This little guy couldn't have been happier!!!
Little matching cousins:
The entertainment of the day was watching him shoot webs all over everyone!
Until he got Mom:)
After the kids were busy with each other the adults started in our big games:
Alivia and Louie having fun:
And, the smallest of our party guests- Baby Harper:
Thank you, once again, friends and family for being a part of this day! We are so blessed to have all of you in our lives supporting our little family, and making our kids feel so special! We had a wonderful day because of all of you....A day our kids will never forget!
