Uh-Oh!
Sorry this one is so fuzzy! No, he's not crying, just really sleepy!
Eliott took his first trip to the ER today. We hope it is also his last! He fell off a chair while standing (imagine that!), and bumped his head on the computer desk in front of him. I got the call on my way to work, I knew when my phone rang at 7:20 a.m., something had happened! What a crazy way to start the morning! When I first saw it under the band-aid I thought it looked pretty bad, but the Dr. said, "oh, that's not so bad", what?!?! I wonder what they call bad!--He's obviously seen a lot worse... and that's obviously why I'm a teacher and not in the medical field! Little guy didn't have to get stitches (yay!) Dr. just glued him back together, and we were on our way! It was pretty deep, all the way through the layers of skin. The Dr. said there's only so far down it can go on the head... his went that far! He has been running around like crazy just like his normal busy boy self ever since! He acts like nothing ever happened. I think it was more painful for all of us than it was for him! Eliott...no more ER visits, please. You're hardly a year old!!!
My aunt Carol also attached a cute photo on our family blog that was taken shortly after he returned from the Dr. http://merlemorenblog.blogspot.com/2008/11/headache.html

No, Eliott did not go with, but I couldn't publish a post without him!
Laughing so hard we were crying at "Remember when" stories!!!!!
Carol was telling hil-ar-i-ous stories, I think we all had tears from laughing so hard!!!!
matchy, matchy
This was only ONE of the vehicles PACKED full, to the top.
Yummy dinner at Grandma's.
Sorry, I feel like it has been forever! Not that I have nothing to blog about, it's just finding the time to do so! Eliott has been keeping us on our toes- he is one very busy little boy! Busy boy, but so much fun! He is walking everywhere now, we rarely see him crawling anymore. Right now, his favorite thing to do is read books... this is the one thing that he will sit still to do. We can't really complain about that, but he definetly has his favorite stories, and they get very, very boring for us after a while!!!! He also loves to be outside pushing his little toys around the yard. This past weekend he started pushing tractors around on his hands and knees while making tractor sounds...how fast they pick up on those little boy things! We are also amazed with how well he understands what we tell him. Where's your nose? Put your hat on. Give the book to Daddy. Just like a little sponge, soaking it all in. Every day it is something new. One thing that shocks us are the expressions and noises he comes up with! He can always bring a smile to your face. There is lots of laughter with Eli around!!
I'm attaching some pictures from the weekend. This past weekend the women in my Mom's family went on our annual girls shopping trip to Duluth. No babies this year, just some real 'serious' (ha!) shoppers! We again ran out of time to shop. Next year we may need to go for 2 nights! We had great food, wonderful conversation, and even a real good joke we played on the mom's. (They didn't really think so!) I think everyone can agree it was an awsome time...I'm already looking forward to next year! I have a while to wait....

Happy Birthday, Reagan!!!
Yesterday I went to a birthday party for my little friend, Reagan. She turned one, too!! I knew I was going to be very busy and have lots of fun with my friends, so I took a little nap on the way to Ramsey!
